         Not really. I'm not one for listening to doctors nor am I in need of assistance to get an erection. So, no I do not agree. If a person dies having sex and even knew they would before hand or that it was a possibility, then it boils down to a choice.
         
         If they cannot get it up, then having sex isn't an option anyways.

   Use it or lose it.  If you still get horny on memories of how you used to be able to "do all night what it now takes you all night to do," you've still got it.  Hasn't it been said that "sex is mostly in the mind."   That's about as far as it gets with me these days- the mind.  My darling and I have had separate bedrooms for the past decade at least so what's the option...Solo sex.  It doesn't really make you go blind.

   He reckoned arousal had nothing to do with pills or impotions...

   Exactly - use it or lose it!  It is like anything else in life, practice makes perfect, and if you stop practicing it, you will be no good at it!
   
   I believe having sex is a gift we should utilize until we keel over - or at the very least are too old to remember how its done. I am of course a sexpot old lady and my husband would confirm this...but I just think it is a good thing to do in one's spare time! It's a great hobby!

    If you can still function, then do it . I have had more than one older person tell me that their doctors said they shouldn't be having sex, but said that if they die in the process...what a way to go! My own husband is considerably older than me, and has expressed the opinion that most men who think they need Viagra just need to find a woman who really excites them. Even when people are past the age of reproducing (which he's obviously not, going into my third trimester now), that doesn't mean that the enjoyment of sex goes away.

    Never say die spirit, the mind can work wonder even if the body is not willing anymore. If there's a will, there's a way, only if you stop thinking about it and you surrender that you cant do anything. Sex is only three letter word that it can make a difference throughout our lives, so even if your walking at old age and having jerky motions and always nodding, then you can still do it, just do it hehehe

My 74 year old father is in the 4th stage of Pancreatic cancer.  My Mom and I took him out for a walk... more of a shuffle.  He informed me he tried to get the old motor running last night.  My mother cringed in embarrassment. I couldn't help but grin; it gives me hope.

    There is no age that would be to old to have sex. I say as long as your alive and your body is feeling, go for it. Sex is the most natural stimulate we have on the planet.     I would say it's never too late. If you still enjoy it and there is no problem with it then go ahead and let yourself go wild. the best thing is just to attract the person you love with emotion and pleasure if you would like to say "SEX".     The age at which someone is "too old to be having sex", differs from one individual to the next.  But I think the correct age limit for not having sex, is when an individual no longer has the drive for sex.
