Daisydayz Hubography

This is a Hub all about my Hubs! Here you will find my entire Hub article collection group together by topic to make it easier for you to navigate through them, and find something that will interest you!

I can't lie I came across this idea on Squidoo, Lensographies are quite common there, so I did a little searching around on the forums here and found that other people had also compiled Libraries of all their hubs. I wanted a way to be able to keep my hubs organised and easy to find not only for my readers but for myself as well. I wanted to easily have an overview of the topics I have written about, without having to constantly click between the groups on my profile and account page, so I figured a Hubography would be a good way to do it.

I recently reached my 100th hub so thought this would be the right time to start organising them. I had enough to make it worth a whole post, but not so many that it would actually take me hours to write. Now I just have to update it each time I add a new hub to my collection of articles.

Please have a look around the topics to see if there is anything you are interested in. I cover a wide and varied range of topics from cooking and craft to finance and alternative medicine, plus books, films and lots of other random things in-between.

Topics at a Glance

Here are all the topics I write about, you will find the hubs for each topic catalogued below it. But hopefully you will see a topic you are interested in and can skip to that. They are alphabetised by topic too.

  • Alternative Medicine
  • Beauty
  • Book Reviews
  • Computer Tutorials
  • Craft Ideas
  • Financial
  • Fun Stuff
  • Gift Lists
  • Hubs about Hubpages

Alternative Medicine Hubs

I've always been interested in Holistic Therapy, but was spurred on to write a few hubs on the subject when it came up as the weekly inspiration topic a few months ago. These are the few hubs I have written so far on the topics of natural remedies and crystal healing

Although I am a Lifestyle Blogger I'm not actually big into my beauty products but I have managed to slip in a few Beauty based hubs here and there.

Book Reviews

I am an avid reader of a multitude of genres. New and old books, from romance to fantasy, crime to teen novels I like a bit of everything. Below are just a small selection of the books I have read recently

Computer Tutorials

Jon my husband occasionally writes some hubs for me, computer hubs are his thing. As Mac users we often had to look for answers online as they are very different to PC's so we thought we would start writing some simple tutorials to help others.

Craft Ideas

I'm also a big crafter so am always looking for new ideas and crafty DIY's online. Pintrest has recently been my main source of inspiration, so I though I would share a few of my finds in some seasonal hubs.

I am no financial expert but occasionally I like to write a helpful hub about the subject of money. We all like to know some tips on how to save it or make it, I hope my hubs will help.

Fun Stuff

Because ever now and then we all need to have a little laugh

Gift Lists

Finding the perfect gift can sometimes be difficult, some people can be very hard to buy for. So I have started compiling some gift lists to fit in with peoples hobbies or things they like, I hope they help you find the perfect gift for your loved ones. They are all pretty self explanatory!

Hubs about Hubpages

As many hubbers like to read about other hubbers, what we get up to and how we are doing I have a few hubs and hubbing!

Kitchen Guides

I love to cook and I use the odd Kitchen Gadget now and again, so thought I would share my opinions on how well they work and whether they are worth getting.

Here are some party themed hubs, as everyone has to host or attend a party at some point! These will help suggest party ideas, themes or even outfits for you to wear.

My hubby, Jon is also into photography so this section is all his handy work. He will be reviewing any new photographic equipment he gets so he can share his experiences with you. We have a range of cameras from a little digital to a Nikon SLR, and an old film camera to a Diana Lomography camera - so expect a variety of reviews.

This is a great idea, definitely something I could borrow sometime to consolidate some of my own titles. The nice thing about it is that you can add to it as you write new hubs. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Julie, no worries, borrow away. I actually saw it on Squidoo so I borrowed it too technically. Just thought it would help sort stuff!

This is a great idea to compile all your writings into a single, portfolio-like, hub. Fairly new to HubPages (but not to online writing), I really like this idea (and, I hope you don't mind if I borrow it...). Thanks for the great hub, and I look forward to reading more of your writing! -- Julie

Of course I'll be flattered, I stole it from Squidoo myself! lol! I think it really helps people find everything, and helps me see everything I've done too. Hope to see your Hubography soon!

I've only just started working on there but I still find it hard as the rating thing is difficult and it's hard not seeing the money like hubpages.

What a cool idea. Have not been on squidoo in quite a while.

I think this idea should be incorporated into hub tutorials, especially now that links can't be activated on profile pages. What a great idea Daisydayz. I hope you will be flattered, and not upset, when others start using this idea!

This makes finding your hubs so much easier and allows your followers and readers to know where to go to pinpoint what is most interesting to them.

Voted up, useful, awesome, and interesting.

Aww thank you so much, I do like to keep organised and I like lists. I have so many different lists - our DVD collection, every film I've ever seen, all the books I've read - goodreads and I check movies are at the top of my favourite websites on my computer, lol!

Rated it up and shared. :)

@karenhellier I saw squidoo lensographies so figured it would work well on hubpages too. Helps keep everything a bit more organized.

This is a great idea to consolidate your hubs into a list that the rest of us can read and click on if we are interested in reading the whole thing. Great way to spotlight your work. And a great marketing idea too. Good for you! Voted up and awesome.
