Aha....that explains it!  We were wondering why you hadn't made it to Elena's hub about hands!  If you haven't read it yet, head over there, you will love it!

Sorry to hear about your broken arm!  I sense some new hub material will be coming out of the experience though.  Isn't that what we do?  Take ordinary (or extraordinary) situations in our lives and turn them into hubs?  *wink*

    Glad you're ok.

I hate broken arms!!! Actaully I hate anything that is broken. Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I will pray for a quick and speedy recovery.

AEvans, you need the link to the graphics to get them here. You then must use bbcode. For images it is like this. beginning tag is [ img] with no spaces and end tag is [/img ] with no spaces. Put the graphic link between the two tags. I used spaces to keep the system from thinking it is an image I am posting.

Ouch!  Life has a way of sending these little reminders.  Hope it doesn't keep you down.  We'll all try to write hubs that keep your mind off any pain.  I've found that I can block physical pain when engrossed in reading, a very worthwhile pursuit I high recommend in these situations.

We will be thinking of you too, Dineane. Hope all goes well.

All of us will be waiting to see how many hubs you both can do with one arm tied behind your back (or slung across your front.)

In the first week after my marriage I had surgery on my right wrist (being right-handed). Sure was nice to have an attentive new husband to help me brush my teeth.

Probabably now he would get me a new battery for my electric toothbrush.

I am dreadfully sorry about your broken arm and wish you fast healing. At least your fingers still work on a keyboard, but I know you must likely keep the arm elevated.

Best wishes and know that I'm thinking about you. A few years back, my ankle snapped apart like a chicken wing - the worst part was the first 20-pound cast and the swelling when it came off. Since you don't stand on your hands -  that I know of - you will surely recover more quickly

    Get well!
