Maddie here's to your good health. You've alluded a few times to having a myserious health condition that's being stubborn. So I'm sending you all the best healing wishes from Cape Cod. (Well some are going through GA to hit habee and others are whipping through the African continent to get to Cindy Vine, but you know what I mean.)You're an important part of our community and I'm sure many others here wish you the best, as well.
here's to a safe and speedy recovery. be sure to offer her my sincere regards.
Maddie, we stand with you in whatever battle you are fighting!
I hope you get well. I've also heard a few things and hope that the tests etc helped them discover the problems.
I'm sure that all the spam deleting you've been doing hasn't lowered your stress levels - so don't forget to sit back and relax!
All the best Maddie. I've certainly had my health battles too. I've been feeling much better since I fired all the MDs in favor of naturopathy and homeopathy. Hope you find answers and wellness.
I have faith that you will beat whatever demons are battling your health!
Maddie, sending you wishes for good health. Take care of yourself.
Perhaps if you sent her bananas, she might feel better earnest!
Sending my best wishes too, Maddie, and hope it turns out to be something minor that is easily treatable.
All the best, Maddie. Trust all is well and sending you very positive thoughts.
Well Maddie not sure what I'm wishing you well from but you got my best wishes all the same. Get better, and stay better
I know she suffers from headaches, because I just said it yesterday. I suffer from headaches on occasion. When I was young I would get a headache every day for 2 months. Then it would disappear. This has been happening on and off for the duration of my life.
Either way headaches are no fun, and that is enough to wish her well, I hope there are no other problems, because having a splitting headache is one of the worst feelings I've ever had.
Thank you all so much. I got a bit teary, I don't mind admitting. Mikeydoes is right, the problem is headaches... or rather one continuous headache that I'll have had for the last year (the anniversary being at the end of this month). I've had just about every test imaginable, and tried countless medications. I'll be undergoing an experimental treatment at the end of this month (insurance approval pending, of course). I appreciate all your good wishes, thoughts, vibes, prayers... whatever you can throw my way.
Again, thank you all so much. The HubPages community is dearer to my heart than you might realize, and this means so much coming from you.
I had a friend with the same problem, almost exactly. She was on every medication possible and she underwent every test possible. (we live in canada...we can do that...for free:))
Turned out that they just went away on their own after about a year. Before they started she had experienced a false pregnancy and the doctors thought maybe it was related somehow, although they are not sure how.
Today, she is migraine-free and everyone is still mystified. But humans are like that. We are just one big puzzle that no one can figure out.
anyways, good luck to you Maddie, I really hope they just...go away! Take care
If your insurance won't cover it Maddie, I'll chip in. Start a 'Moderating Maddie With Love' fund
I shall bake. My chocolate cake is awesome. Sell them and send Maddie the revenue. It's the only damn thing I can do in the kitchen, bake. Besides washing up of course
Or I'll do a sponsored 'something'. Or donate a % of my earnings. Here we get it all free, medical stuff. There'd be no worrying whether the insurance would cover it. I'd hate to be in the position Maddie's in.
I take medication every day, heck knows how it would work if I didn't have the money.
Best wishes, Maddie - coping with that level of pain must be awful, especially when you have our petty squabbling to deal with. Hope that you manage to get it all sorted out.
Frogdropping: If the insurance won't cover it, I am sure that we can send a few sturdy Hubbers around to the insurance company's offices, for a little gentle persuasion.
So sorry to hear that you are suffering like this, Maddie. Have any of your docs mentioned New Daily Persistent Headache? I have had it (6 years this month). It's basically a headache that shows up rather randomly one day and never goes away.
Chronic head pain can change your life so drastically - I hope that you are pushing through and hanging in there until you can get some answers and relief (and taking it easy when you need to).
You are not alone.
I hope you are feeling well today.
Maddie, do you live in the Bay Area? Or in the Valley?
Ditto to all the wishes and emotions here.
All the best to you, Maddie! I hope the source(s) of the problem is/are discovered and the right treatment selected.
You always take such good care of all of us; I hope we can return the favor to some degree. Prayers, good wishes, and happy thoughts are sent your way.
sending you loads of love and light~ I can't imagine a year long headache and putting up with us and the incredible work load you must have. Hopefully, soon there will be relief!
That is really tough, to have headaches like that. You must be really in pain most of the time. I pray that the result will be positive and that the pains can be more endurable.
How awful for you Maddie, I so hope that this upcoming 'experimental treatment' solves the problem. Thinking of you.
I always want to say the perfect thing that will make a huge impact, but recognize that the perfect thing is simply letting someone know that they're in your thoughts and that you care.
Take care Maddie!
Wishing you good health and no more headaches. Get better, Maddie.
Sending some special grits to Maddie if I have enough left after giving Holle her treatment!
Best wishes, Maddie. I know someone who gets a headache for days at a time, which is bad enough. Having a headache for a whole year must be terrible. I hope so much that the new treatment gives you relief.
Best wishes also from GA. We got a lot of love here to give. It's great to see so many coming out for other hubbers!
Sending all my best wishes, love and positive thoughts your way!
Prayers, best wishes, peace, and positive thoughts to Maddie from Ontario Canada...I know the frustration of having a medical situation which cannot be conclusively diagnosed. Take strength from all of the positive energy that these hubbers are sending your way! What a lovely bunch.
Projecting healing thoughts to you Maddie...It's getting better with your body system now. We love to see you always smile in good health.
All the very best Maddie. I hope that you are up and dancing on the table tops soon - metaphorically or otherwise!
A year-long headache, oh my! Sending lots of positive thoughts, hugs and well wishes your way, Maddie! We'll keep our fingers crossed that the insurance comes through for you and that the treatment is a success!
How awful a continuous headache. My best to you, hope the new treatment will be approved and work.
Wishing you good health, Maddie. Am sure the insurance would come through and the treatment works. Hope to hear you report that you are headache-free soon!!
Thank you all so much for your concern and kind words. I don't mind admitting it makes me a little teary to read all of your posts. The HubPages community is the best!
You are the heart of this community, Maddie, and when the heart aches, that's the worst. I hope you will get better very soon!
Its threads like this one that remind me that we are more than SEO, AdSense (falling!) and Backlinks. We are a community and you are one of our own! Bless you Maddie. I shall add my prayers and love to the pile!
To you, my friend, I wish good things,
Like cash and cars and diamond rings,
But most of all I wish you stealth,
In your recovery to tip-top health!
Best wishes, Maddie!
I'm sending prayers to end that persistent headache, from wherever it is coming, Maddie. We want it to go away and not come back or send any little headaches in its place.
Be well and encouraged.
