   Hello, thank you for all your wonderful ideas for setting up a Christmas mood and enjoying the festive season.  We had 44 Christmas Parades and festivals hubs covering parades and festivals in North America, Europe, Philippines, Australia, Canada and Asia.  A complete tour around the world!  Thank you for all your contributions HubMobsters.
   
   This week to continue with our Christmas month, we are going to be writing about Christmas recipes.    Prepare yourself for a delicious week with festive recipes from around the world.   You can choose to share a single recipe or go for a full Christmas menu; you can use traditional ingredients or be exotic and share your country's own culinary treasures.  Other ideas for Christmas recipes are Christmas breakfasts; recipes using Christmas leftovers; Christmas recipes on a budget; cooking for big gatherings; traditional puddings, desserts and cakes. Let your imagination run free to create the most delicious Christmas menus!

      Hello! I just published my Christmas Recipe Hub...
      
      In Virginia, we prepare the most memorable and delicious Christmas dishes. They come from recipes that were passed down from generation to generation. Ageless is the best description these labors of love represent. The meals created from them are so good a person seldom has the strength to push the plate away. The best a person can do is sit there at the table and let the food settle. After that you go back and eat again as if you never had the dish before.

      We grew up lower middle class and yet every Christmas we seemed to get the best gifts, so one year I asked my Mom what was up with that and she let me in on her secret, she told me that if I made these certain cookies that Doll House that was meant for Suzie down the street would be mine. Low and behold on Christmas Morning I woke up to find the doll house of my dreams under the tree and a note from Santa thanking me for the cookies. Just pick one of these five recipes and you are sure to get on Santa's good list.

      When I was growing up, my father used to make the best ham in the whole neighbourhood, heck maybe in the world.  So this week's topic brought back some sweet memories of my childhood.

      A beautiful bowl of Christmas Citrus Champagne Punch is the perfect addition to your Christmas brunch.  It's sunshiny enough to go with breakfast foods yet packs enough "punch" to keep everyone jolly.

       This is my first hubmob, but I couldn't resist--  I had to share my favorite eggnog recipe. Real home made, with a kick egg nog is a glorious Christmas tradition and that stuff you find in cardboard cartons in the supermarket cannot hold a candle to it!  Merry Christmas and bottoms up:-)

      Great hub idea.  I've been thinking 'cookie' recipes and then there was the HAM.  I had to go back and read the title for the hubmob again.   Thanks for doing a great job throwing the challenges out to us every week.  Hmmm, will 'traditions' be next?

    This is a wonderful hub. I am so looking forward to trying some of these recipes. Mine is on the traditional Christmas Plum Pudding wrapped in calico and steamed. This has been passed down from mother to daughter from England to Australia through four or five generations.

       I will share some recipe on Swedish glogg. The special with our glogg is that we add vodka or cognac. We need it to keep warm in this cold climate:)  Apart from the usual glogg there is also some specialities with saffron and bluberry. And to cap it all, some snacks to the glogg!

    Here are some Christmas drink recipes that we use every year for Christmas and the punch makes its way to the Thanksgiving table as well. These have been a huge hit with the kids!
