A big thanks to all the HubMobsters who made the Health Care HubMob possible last week. We managed a total of 24 published hubs on the topic. A special mention to our most prolific HubMobster of the week, rmcrayne who submitted an amazing 6 hubs:
Books That Impacted My Journey to Better Health
Arthritis Relief- Heat Treatment Options
Nothing's Wrong with You- Failure of Healthcare with Auto-Immune Disorders
Healthcare in America- Hurry You're Behind!

We are almost in October, Halloween is coming and people are starting to wonder what costumes to buy, what decorations they need, what to give young trick-or-treaters and what tricks they are planning to play themselves! So this week, like we did last year we are going to hubmob about Halloween. This is the time to use your e-bay and Amazon capsules to try to make the most profit out of them selling costumes, decorations, party products, chocolates, sweets, tableware, balloons and even Halloween flowers.
Some ideas for a HubMob hub on Halloween are:
Halloween around the World
Costumes
Decorations
Haunted Houses & Attractions
History
Party Ideas
Religious Perspective
Trick or Treating
Halloween celebrations in theme parks: Disneyland, Disneyworld.
Preparing a Halloween party for: young children, for teenagers, for adults.
Halloween foods and drinks
How to curve a pumpkin
Homemade Halloween decorations
Homemade Halloween costumes
To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:
1. YOU MUST START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK. Choose the Answer the Request green button. Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.
2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub to get a good ranking in the search engines, AVOID starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"
3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/21646/hubm … ew&rss
4. Add the HubMob graphic to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.
5. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why. Take advantage of the free publicity!
If you are still not sure about what is a HubMob and the benefits of taking part in one I created this guide http://hubpages.com/hub/What-is-a-HubMo … o-join-one please feel free to come up with any questions if you have any doubts left.
Have a scary time!
Here is my post I'm new to this so I hope it is up to snuff
http://hubpages.com/hub/Low-Cost-Halloween-Party-Ideas
wow, I nearly missed this. Bumping it up for everybody to see.
Too bad I have a few already posted that would have worked for this not sure if I can scrounge up another one or two.
If you make another one for the HubMob you can backlink to your previous hubs on halloween to self promote your own hubs
Thanks Princessa for all of your support.
Correction: The Arthritis piece is not HubMob, it's Aging and Longivity. The HubMob piece missing is #1: How to Talk to Your Doctor About Pain.
Dang I got all excited about the Halloween topic and forgot to congratulate you. RM you did an awesome job getting all those done this last week. Woot! Woot!
Here we go my second Hubmob for Halloween, a little bit of history and a lot of costumes. Should go down a scream Halloween Fancy Dress Costumes
Hope you enjoy it.
Way to go RM with 6 hubs...You rock and definitely made the journey of writing about health care appear to be a breeze!
Thanks lynne, Princessa and Money. This was definitely my passion topic.
Would you help me find my perfect costume for this Halloween?

Halloween alternatives around Michigan, with somereally fun videos, especially from Hell Michigan.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Holy-Halloween-in-Hell-Batman
I am nearly Halloweened out - already published three, but if I can link to them, maybe I can "scare" up a couple more before the end of the week...
A link of one of my hub on Halloween I published on 26th October 2007, around two years back, when I joined hubpages?
http://hubpages.com/hub/halloween2007
It is outdated though but I know it is seasonal and gives my some hits whenever Halloween day comes every year.
Sorry Soni, but I can't include it in the hub. You could answer the request using a link though. I'm not sure if that method shows up in the feed or not. Probably does.

I have a whole series of Halloween Hubs....and this is my latest. This also happens to complete a challenge I made to myself to write 45 hubs during the month of September so that I'd have an even 200 going into October. October 5th is my 1 year anniversary with HubPages. I made it. This is my 45th in Sept, my 200th overall and I have a day to spare.
The last HubMob hub that I did is my #1 hub still today. HubMob works!
Many congrats to you, KCC!!! That's some very hard work that you've put in to your hubs!
Thank you so much, Shirley! Hard work, but incredibly fun and rewarding.
Congrats KCC Big on your outstanding accomplishment.
I'm encouraged about your ringing endorsement on HubMob. When I naviated to HP today, before I signed in, imagine my surprise when I saw one of my Healthcare HubMob hubs roll across the "recommended hubs"!
Thank you! It's a great way to get your hub noticed. Noticed=pageviews=potential clicks=money Even if you're not in it for the money, having your work read is important. It can't get read if people don't know about it. The HubMob provides fantastic weekly topics, and exposure like crazy. I highly recommend it.
45 in a month!!! wow, that's amaing KCC Big Country congratulations
Hi, this is my first time to get involved with Hub Mob. It's about Halloween party in some Asian countries including mine. Please check this out :

http://hubpages.com/hub/Halloween-A-Witchs-Perspective
This is my firt HubMob Hub. I am so excited! I think I made a mistake though and added it twice. I was trying to edit it to add the RSS feed and it got added twice. Sorry.
Welcome to the HubMob, Sonja! You did great but you need to move the feed link into a feed capsule. If you need some help, just let us know.
I've added you to the hub! Extreme Hallowe'en HubMob
That is a fun topic, now I'm going to think about a topic that's not done already...
What about Halloween celebrations (or the lack of them) in India?. Here in France, Halloween is not really a big thing at all, at least not in the small villages where the French seem to resist it. However we have several local festivities like the "fete de la sorcellerie" or witchcraft festivals and the "pumpkins festival". How is it in your part of the world?
This is the first time I've done a hubMob - so hope I've done it right!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Halloween-Custo … ltic-Lands
Yes, perfect: you answered the request, you wrote some great informative content and added the hubmob graphic. I would just suggest that you put the RSS feed in a RSS feed capsule for better view.
Welcome! You are now officially a HubMobster.
You did really well. All you missed was adding the RSS feed, which is available in Princessa's first post at the top of this thread. If you need any help, let us know.
Shirley, what is the best way to link to my other Halloween hubs? Should I use text links or throw in a links capsule. Or is there another way? (still a bit confused about the whole "backlink" thingy) lol
Anath,
I'll help you find the perfect costume...It shall be glorious!
Bummer I just published a Halloween one last week , wahhhhhh....
Can I use that one as a Hubmob Princessa ?
Sorry Eaglekiwi, it doesn't work that way
But as I mentioned it before, you can write a new one and link back to your old one for some extra hublove
OK, so maybe it's not so scary...
http://hubpages.com/hub/Scary-Halloween … er-Cookies
Now - do I just make a links section to my other Hubs, or is there another way?
Here's my contribution to the Hubmob:
http://hubpages.com/hub/How-do-Filipino … -Halloween
Just have one problem. The RSS feed is not working. When I edit it, it looks just fine but when I publish the hub, it says the RSS feed is not valid. Can anybody help me on this?
Last week people had problems also, but I think it should work fine if you right-click on it and then click on 'copy link location' or 'copy hyperlink', then paste it in...
I just realized that I forgot to submit my hub through the answer question link - oops! Will it still count?
Here it is: http://hubpages.com/hub/Homemade-Halloween-Decor
The hub has been updated again.
Extreme Hallowe'en Hub
Shirley,
Did mine not qualify because I forgot to submit it through the 'answer question' link?
I'm sorry, Lily Rose but you're right, it doesn't.
You have a couple of options, though. You can unpublish it and publish again (you'll have to pick a different url) or you can write it again, using a different slant. That way, you'd have 2 hubs on the same subject.
Sorry, wish the news was better!
Okay, fine - my bad! Here's my second halloween hub, but 1st Halloween Hubmob following the directions:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Pumpkin-Halloween-Decorations
I decided to join in the fun this week. Wrote it rather quickly but hopefully, it reads okay.
How to Make a Real Zombie
Think the name says it all.
I JUST! got done writing a Halloween hub, then realized the HubMob topic was "Halloween". My hub is "Haunted Places in New York State". I'd like to get it into the HubMob but didn't click on the link before I began, and etc. I think I missed the boat this time, but I'll be sure to look at the topic for the week next time before I write a hub.
To bad, so sad, a day late and a dollar short, that's me.
I hope it's ok to put the link in here:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Haunted-Places-New-York-State
I love HubPages. I love Halloween!!!! :
Now I get a chance to use my pumpkin pictures. Tee hee! Here's my hub.
http://hubpages.com/hub/How-the-Jack-o- … -Halloween
What the heck do ads for hot Tamil actresses and low Indian Saree prices have to do with my hub?
As soon as Google check ya out ( I mean your hub ,lol) they will change the adverts. We all get those um ladies , or something similar.
It must be all those hubs about Indian actresses that Google automatically puts them there first!
Here is my first HubMob! I hope I did it right. The title says it all...it is about Candy!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Candy-Candy-and-More-Candy
Hope you enjoy!
Ok,. I decided I just couldn't miss out on this HubMob. I had enough scary stories for another hub, anyway. Like I said, I love Halloween. So I wrote "Haunted Places in New York, Part 2" and followed the directions, well most of them, the RSS feed didn't work--it just kept saying "loading" without loading it for minutes on end.
I'm with Special K. I hope I did it right!
Here's the link:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Haunted-places- … ork-Part-2
I'm gonna go back through this thread and look for Halloween stories from my fellow hubbers. Have fun everyone, and Happy Halloween!
When I looked at this week's HubMob I initially dismissed it as something I had no interest in, just like the Striving for Perfection HM. And just like Perfection HM, I again changed my mind! I found my Halloween pictures from college! I have included 7 great photos in my hub.
Inexpensive and Easy Halloween Costumes
http://hubpages.com/hub/Inexpensive-and … n-Costumes
When I was in college, my class hosted a party for Developmentally Delayed adults every Halloween. Costumes were made from things we had on hand. These are cheap and easy to put together Halloween costumes like those from our parties.
This is a great topic. Here is my first contribution. I hope to have time to write some others I have in mind.
http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Turn-a-P … -O-Lantern
What a great topic this week to honor a classic actor!
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Best-Dracula-Ever
already started mine but didn't realize there was a hubmob for it... too bad. there are only so many halloween topics I can think of or care to write about...
i did candy corn last year for the halloween hubmob.
Well done HubMobsters, here is the latest update on the Halloween Category page http://hubpages.com/topics/holidays-and … oween/2728
We have Anath, RedElf, Eaglekiwi, Shirley Anderson, rmcrayne, Lily Rose and KCC Big Country featured on the Halloween category page
This is so fun! I could become a HubMob addict. There are worse things to be addicted to, right?
Hey! Look at that. Thanks, Princessa.
Oh, that reminds me - I need to go update the hub.
Bloodcurdling Pumpkins---
http://hubpages.com/hub/A-Bloodcurdling … -Tradition
OK, this is my first attempt at a HubMob Hub. I chose to do one on Halloween Events In New York City because I have great pride in my hometown and there's a lot going on here on that day.
http://hubpages.com/hub/halloweennewyork
I also did one on Haunted NYC. I didn't write it to be part of the HubMob initially, but can I turn it into one and submit it?
This is my first HubMob Hub! I've enjoyed it, and am hooked (again!).
What's Halloween without a little celebration? Just to help your creative juices flow --

What's a party without some creepy, mind bending and fun food?
This one's easy to make, and not too hard for the weak of stomach to taste:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Halloween-Recipe-Bloody-Cake
This has been an extraordinary week, I was nominated on Hubnuggets as a hubwannabe! Yeh! My huband had a great job interview today, fingers crossed, and here is my Halloween Hub:

It was hard to find something original as there is so much wonderful creativity in this wonderful group! I'd love to write more about Halloween but I don't see anything that that been left unsaid, but I'll be watching....Happy Spooky Halloween!
Okay, this is the last for the night, but without frosting on the cake, it just isn't finished!
Here's a fat free, easy frosting for the bloody cake above:
