Many of us here on HubPages bring our lives and struggles into our writing. We write to come to terms with the past or to tell our dreams of the future. Have you written your story in a hub-or hubs? Which one of your hubs tells your story and why did you decide to write it and post it?

http://hubpages.com/hub/Who-is-SimeyC really is the hub all about me - it tells of my life, my family and my inspirations - it gives an insight into the good things in my life as well as the sadness....if you then link it to my '50 things I'd like to do before I die' hub then you almost get the complete picture....almost!

All my hubs are a piece of me. You can gain a lot by reading my hubs and possibly even understand my complicated personality. I'm a unique person. I've rarely met people who are eye to eye with me.

If you want a glimpse into my childhood, then you can read a true story I wrote about A Lost Soul - My Missing Father. I do go into some detail about my life. Not everything, but just up through high school years and a year or so beyond.

The story end about the time when I reached 18 years old. There is much in my life you can find throughout the forum threads, because I don't hold nothing back. I am outspoken and make others aware of it. Most of the time I am blunt and honest, which throws people off.

But, you would have to read everything I've written to gain a complete understanding. smile

Great thread. Thank you. smile big_smile

When i write hubs they are mostly about situations a human being can find themselves in unexpectadly. Unfortunately, when you are in this situation youquite often find people shy away from you, treat you as some kind of lepar and stigmatism rules.
I write my hubs to try and help people in these situations to let them know that there is often a solution even though they don't think so at the time.
I have not been hubbing so long so i haven't touched on the psychological aspect of certain illnesses/diseases.

I am note sure that my hubs describe me as a person as i really do have to keep a cerain distance from the emotional aspect to be able to do a good job.
In real life i can be quite soft and squeamish but never when i am working. Which really doesn't make alot of sense now does it?

From my struggle with depression to the awesome experience on a reality show, I try to share my deepest thoughts.  To me, sharing your own personal battles with others is the best way to reach another individual who may be going through the same thing. If it weren't for my willingness to reveal myself, I would be in a very bad place. Thank God for communities like Hubpages that opens the door to share with a great bunch of folks.

I haven't really written the definitive hub that tells my story yet, but I have revealed glimpses of both the weirder aspects of my life and the more emotional side of my character.  I guess I'm still working up to something that I can point to and say, "this is my life" or "this is what I'm about."

I still hope and intend to, though.

I don't just write hubs, to have hundreds of them. That would probably help me with traffic, and generating income, but, it's really not what I want to do right now.

Each of my poems tell you a bit about me. They're like a stripping down of my soul on paper. There is one that puts in in a nutshell, though:

Nicely done. A great way of saying-don't judge me before you know me and you may not ever know who I really am anyways. Rated Up Becca-great job!!!

I do have a couple that delves into my earlier life that is both personal and autobiographical:

    If I Had Wings

    Why I Write: A Reflection

These two hubs tells about some of my years while attending college in New York:

Aboard a Greyhound Bus For the Holidays

Autumn in New Paltz New York

There are snippets and other clues to who I am scattered in many of my hubs and the rest can be found by clicking on my avatar.

Great idea, H.C. Porter!  Thanks for posting this smile cool

I have not yet written my life story. I have started it before, deleted it, started it again... I am not sure I will ever write my life story, but if I choose to publish some of my short stories or poetry here, my readers will get a glimpse into my past, my present, and perhaps my future. I'm just not sure if I want to get that personal here yet.

Just about every Hub I write touches on some part of my life.

This is the one that's the most directly about me,
    http://hubpages.com/hub/relache

All my travel-related Hubs are about my road adventures, the gardening ones are about what's in the backyard, etc.

I think everything that I write down on hubpages, from hubs to forums tell my story. It's hard for me to just pinpoint one thing.

I reveal a small portion of me in each hub I write. The two that reveal the most about me are:

The one I have not written yet!  It never has been about me.  It is more about celebrating others.
