Hello Hubbers, thank you to all the HubMobsters who took part in last week's Easter HubMob Our work is done for the Easter holidays, now we can just sit and enjoy those chocolate eggs while we wait for our Easter hubs to "mature" and become Top of the searches in April.
This week, we are off to a completely new topic: Animals.
We are going to pass from the very seasonal Easter topic to an evergreen topic. This week we are going to be writing about animals. We all have some knowledge on the topic, whether you are a professional in the area or you just happen to have pets, or even if you don't own any animal but you are engaged in
raising awareness about animal welfare and endangered species, this is the opportunity to share your views about animals.
Some ideas for this week's topic are:
Insects and bugs
How to teach children about animal care
Advice on solving small problems with your pet
To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:
1. START YOUR HUB clicking the . green button. Then choose the "MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT" option.
2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub to get a good ranking in the search engines, AVOID starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"
3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/113391/hub … ew&rss
4. Add the HubMob graphic created for the topic by wyanjen
5. Categorize your hub according to your topic.
6. Create good quality original content.
7. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.
Thanks for taking part in the Weekly HubMob!
Yippee!! I'm so excited for this week's challenge. Now if I can just find some time this week to write about it!
Is this new thing included in Hub?.......Good idea to post hubs about animals also.
Love this topic too! I am sharing some information in my contribution that is about bringing more birds to your outdoor living space. Whether or not you love birdwatching, you can benefit your area and community by helping to keep it a hospitable place for our feathered friends.

Happy Hubbing Everyone.
I am very new to Hubpages and HubMob so I hope I'm doing this right.
Recently, a friend of mine almost lost her dog after he got into a pack of sugar free gum that he found. It turns out that the ingredient Xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs. According to her vet, the number of Xylitol poisoned dogs which he sees is still on the rise even though the dangers have been known (to some )for years. I didn't know and I am a dog owner.
So, I hope this is helpful to some fellow dog owners out there.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Xylitol-Sugar-F … c-to-Dogs/
BTW, I don't know how to attach the HubMob graphic. Like I said, I'm a total novice!
Hello, welcome to the HubMob. Very interesting entry!
For some reason the link to your hub wasn't working so I am posting it here again: Xylitol: Sugar Free and Toxic to Dogs
To add the graphic you can consult this hub How to Write a HubMob Hub: Answering the request, adding the HubMob graphic and the RSS feed
Thanks for becoming a HubMobster
I acquired a yellow-headed amazon parrot when I married my husband. My hub is about how Turkey (yes, that is her name!) and I became best buds and some tips I've gleaned over the years on caring for parrots. Here's the link.
Hi Princessa- Hope I have done everything right, this is my first Weekly Hub Mob Hub. I wrote about the Animal Survivors of the Japan Tsunami. including links about how to help and some heartwarming stories of survival. Thanks!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Animal-Survivor … an-Tsunami
I've just published my first ever hub for weekly hubmob. I am so excited! Please read and let me know if you liked it. It's a bit unconventional, about role of insects in crime investigation. Forensic Entomology is one of my favorite subjects, that's why I've chosen such a topic.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Forensic-Entomo … estigation
I have two pet cockatiels, and they're pretty cute! Very expressive, and definitely with unique personalities. Here's my contribution for the HubMob. It's all about Cockatiels! http://hubpages.com/hub/Information-on- … Cockatiels
My hub is about why you should choose a Rescue Dog.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Choose-A-Rescue … ur-New-Pet
I wrote about child safety tips in zoos because of a recent almost nasty event in our local zoo.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Child-Zoo-Safet … y-for-Zoos
I wrote a hub about putting your dog on a diet.
I still can not add that paw. I thought it could be inserted as a photograph--which would have been easy on my mac....My mac is sick so I am using and old but efficient PC. Is there a picture somewhere? I am about to post my hub Gardening with Wildlife: Attracting butterflies to your garden. Help please! 1000 thanks!
I am ready to sleep zzzz! I will dream with wildflowers and beautiful butterflies. http://hubpages.com/hub/Gardening-with- … utterflies
Have a wonderful day everybody!
I have three hubs on dogs that I think I forgot to add the links here. at least I don't see them among the postings.
they were on Greenland Dogs,Animal Mascots , and Dalmatians I did everything else on them but I am not sure if I should list them here of not..
My first attempt at the weekly Hub
Nice I have learned a new trick on my own. Whoohooo
Welcome to the HubMob. Not only you are a HubMobster now, but you are also the first one posting a Hub this week
Wow! I am so in sync with the HubMob topics lately. I had a few ideas this week for some cat hubs, and now I find out that's what this week's topic is! Fortunately, I haven't started on them yet.
Here's one on the domesticated silver fox: http://hubpages.com/hub/How-Animals-Are … anges?done
This hub is about an extinct breed of dog.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Hare-Indiand-Do … inct-Breed
Hi! First HubMob I've written! Hope you enjoy my hub about the Spanish Lynx, the world's most endangered cat;
The topics have been great! I have a few ideas for Hubs regarding this topic, as I absolutely adore animals!
Here's my first contribution:
Another one from me. This one is about, as the title suggests, small problems you can find with larger breeds.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Small-problems- … breed-dogs
All about Equine Therapy...enjoy!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Horse-Therapy-E … d-Learning
Princessa! This is a great hubmob idea. I'm sure there will be many responses and interesting hubs.
Here's mine for the week
http://hubpages.com/hub/Endangered-Spec … ot-survive
Here's another animal hub...I have always wondered about the Dodo Bird and now, I had reason to research and report.
Princessa, you are a goldmine of ideas! I can't wait to write this hub I've been thinking about it fits in perfectly! Thank you!
I did mine about Hedgehogs because I've always wanted one, and this helped me learn about what I need to know before I get one. http://hubpages.com/hub/Exotic-Pets-Hedgehogs
Hi : )
Thanks for picking a great Topic Princessa, I love animals! This is my first HubMob participation and I look forward to doing more. : )
I chose black bears for a subject because I see them a lot here where I live or hear a lot of stories from others in the area about them. They are very interesting animals and it's exciting to see one in the wild.
Here is my Page:
http://hubpages.com/hub/tipstostaysafei … earhabitat
I have a bunch of stuff to go do now, but I'm looking forward to checking out everyone's entries!
Have a good day : )
This topic about animals appears to be a fun one. This encouraged me to participate in HubMob for the very first time. How many hubs can we submit to a HubMob topic each week?
Hi everyone, I've written another hub for this because I love animals!
This one concerns the phenomena of big cats in Britain, sightings and evidence of their existence, despite what authorities tend to tell us!
For anyone who shares my dream of seeing a big cat in the wild...
http://hubpages.com/hub/Where-to-see-a- … n-the-Wild
Cool! Was looking to go to Ranthambore later this year, work allowing. Can't wait!
My last hub was about a dog breed that is extinct. The new one is about a dog breed that is almost but not quite extinct.
I put the wrong link before. It I inadvertently put in the link to a resource instead of the one for my hub. The following should be the right one.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Canadian-Eskimo … arest-Dogs
I love animals, great topic! Here is mine, I wrote about the Gray Wolf!
Awesome topic this week! Keeping our dogs safe from every day stuff is a tough job. In this hub you find information on really BAD foods for Your really GOOD dog. Learn how NOT to poison your dog unknowingly!
Have a great day folks!
Here is my first HubMob ...
It is about the beautiful bird gannet which has "airbags" that enable it to plunge dive into the ocean at highway speeds. Unfortunatly, they are threatened by the BP oil spill.
I'm not sure why my Hub is not showing up in the HubMob topic RSS feed.
Welcome to HubMob. I saw your hub in the feed. As long as you start your hub from Princessa's weekly links, your hub should be in the feed.
Yep! I screwed up and wrote my hub before going through the correct procedure. Oh well, maybe next time!
Don't feel bad. It happens. I did not start my very first HubMob roundup hub from the link!
Aaaarrrgh! I goofed as well...but here it is anyway:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Boykin-Spaniels … All-Around
Awwww...nice to meet a former South Carolinian on HP. I love and miss my Molly girl every day!
The picture I posted is Hope aka Hootie. Miss Mocha Bean was the doggie love of my life, also a Boykin. She lived to the ripe old age of 15 1/2- with 3 legs! If you notice, Hope is missing an eye (but has all appendages).
Thought I would write to hubs on this weeks topic!
A second contribution for this weeks hubmob topic is this little ditty defining Pet Health care Insurance.
http://hubpages.com/hub/DOGS-What-is-Pe … for-my-Dog
Hope you're all having a purrrfect day!
This'll be my fifth week with HubBob...I'm finding it really good as a motivator and also it makes me write about topics I wouldn't necessarily choose, which is mind-stretching!
Apparently cats don't get string theory. Who knew?:
Hub about the Anglerfish which has it own light source
http://hubpages.com/hub/Anglerfish-has- … ght-source
But that is not the strangest part. Read about its reproductive practices -- now that is even more strange.
Even as you have the comment capsule turned off this hub, I wanted you to know I enjoyed reading it. What a cool creature you chose to write about.
Thanks. I just finished another one. This one on archerfish which is a fish that can shoot down insects out of branches.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Archerfish-Shoo … f-Branches
Thanks for reading. I like to find and write about interesting facts. I have added the comment module for the hub now.
Thought that I would something a little left field...good for a laugh
I've always wondered what the differences were myself, so thought it would make a good animal week topic.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Differences-Bet … -and-Toads
Thanks all; have a lot of reading to do to catch up with you folks.
Well here is my submission. I wrote about my cats and how to help them relax and be happy.
I just wrote a hub about animals and their ability to predict natural disasters, earthquakes, and storms. http://hubpages.com/hub/Can-Animals-Dom … -to-Nature
I have just given up my hubmob virginity. Is there where I post my link when it says to post in forum. This does not seem like a forum, but I am new to this.
http://hubpages.com/hub/I-am-Meat-and-S … Tasty-Meat
I am having difficulty adding the rss feed. I read the hub from Princessa, but it is not working. Can you help?
Evolution of the Dog....
Here's one I just got done writing about sloths. They fascinate me. I'm liking this week's topic more and more as the days go by...
It's taken a while to do this - this all about those wonderful animals that make their own light.
Animals that Glow: The Science of Bioluminescence
http://hubpages.com/hub/Animals-that-Gl … minescence
Hope you all enjoy it!
Another animal hub:
This time about humpback whales
Writing about animals is easy compared to some of the more complicated articles that I write (such as about Magnesium, or cell phone radiation, or the multiverse).
I'm on a bit of a cat roll here:
Did you experience being beaten by a dog? I became a victim, recently. It was not puncture or lacerated wounds but I still felt vulnerable of the incident.I love dogs; in fact, I have one pet at home.
I wrote about camels in Dubai as I think they are amazing creatures and I wanted to share some of my favourite pics of them that I had taken :-)
I wrote about dog beds
Two different dogs in two share houses
http://hubpages.com/hub/My-freindship-w … k-and-Kuta
I've written one about cat declawing. It's something that's very close to my heart as I love cats and can't imagine why anyone would want to harm their pet in this way.
Elephant with a Heart - How Elephants Communicate and Use Language
Hi Princessa this is my first hub for the weekly hubmob .
It is about my Little Rescue Dog .
I wrote about pet skunks. Because I had one. And I wish I still had one.
I am a volunteer with a dog rescue group. I mainly do transport for the dogs to foster homes, and am in awe of all the work the rest of the group does, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyful. My hub chronicles a week in the life of a dog rescue group.
http://hubpages.com/hub/One-Week-in-the … Dog-Rescue
This is about Wolf dog hybrids
My HubMob is about Robert Bateman a Canadian painter and his work as an artist capturing animals on canvas.
here is the link to my hubmob hub remebering animals past and present
http://hubpages.com/hub/Remebering-Anim … nd-Present
A look at a few of my favourite animals and sharing a few facts about each one.
One more from me! It's just about pets and why we have them.

For this week's HubMob, I have decided to cover a topic that is truly close to many people's hearts - their pets.
