I'm just retuning to HubPages after a lengthy break, so I'm not ready to join in. But it sounds like fun and I wanted to wish you all luck in reaching your goals.
So does this mean that you're going to be one of our Hub Challenge cheerleaders?
I'm going for 30 hubs in 30 days. Going to post the first one right now.
Carol
I have too much to do otherwise to keep to any sort of discipline with this but I am doing a lot of new hubs anyway and have just published my third in the last few days. I may get 30 done but it won't be an official entry I am afraid. Good luck to everyone with this!
To be official was I supposed to leave my blog address too? If so it's here: http://writerfzharper.blogspot.com/ Thanks. I just finished my 2nd hub for the challenge.
To track the #hubchallenge on twitter you can use this free tool http://twitterfall.com/ -- twitterfall does a good job at tracking #hash(s) and it's free. (oh -- auto update in real time).
Yep, you can also use the Twitter search:
http://search.twitter.com/search?q=hubchallenge
Not sure if this counts as number one but if it does then there are only 99 bottles of beer left on the wall....
Yeah!!!!

OK I am crazy! So I am going for the 100 hubs in 30 days!I am hoping to make money with it besides the pure enjoyment!Good luck to us all!!
Oh man, I've been out of town for a few days and am only hearing about this now. That's what you get, I guess...
I'll aim for 100, but probably finish closer to 30. I am not as fast a writer as some of you!
Good luck to everyone participating!
Yeah Kerry!!! Glad that you saw this and that you've accepted the 100 in 100! I guess that we're both crazy, eh?
I keep on getting distracted when I should be writing...I definitely don't want to get behind on the first day! haha
Be sure to follow these 3 simple instructions as you go Hubbing on your merry way:
I have done all my keyword research and will start publishing hubs tomorrow.
I can't wait! w00t!
I'm going to shoot for 100 but 30 is very doable. I'll be getting off my lazy rear and finishing the ones I've started.
ok - being very new to hubpages and loving a challenge (did I really agree to write 100 hubs in 30 days??????) can someone please tell me where to go to find out how to get a good mark on my hubs?
oops - sorry guys I got distracted by a phone call and didnt mean to post the above message. What I meant to ask was is there like a guide to hubpages i.e. on Squidoo you have the giant squids that you can read up on to see how to make your lens better etc. I am not sure where I should be looking on hubpages so if anyone can direct me, that would be great.
And for those of you on twitter who are like me and forget your log in there is a problem with their system generating passwords today but they hope it will be fixed tomorrow.
Gnight everyone as its late here.
Thank you Court and Ryan for getting this challenge going - its fun.
Im game to try the 30 hubs in 30 days. It will be good to get the brain cooking...
This could be fun...I'll try it I should be able to do at least 30 but will be aiming for the "100"!
I've published 6 hubpages so far and have 13 in draft on my hubpages dashboard but I also have 32 all written out on tatty notepads with sketches and allsorts of keyword research and notes.
So I've got to get on with 49 more hubs, but then I have them all planned out anyway because I'm an organized type of freak, just typed in the wrong identifying hubchallenge tag on my first few hubs, but have since sorted this out.
Anyway back to hubbing.....I Can't BE HERE CHATTING IDLE CHAT WHEN THE WORLD NEEDS A 100 MORE HUBPAGES!!!!
Okay,
#HubChallenge is being outdone by #twitterpornnames.
This cannot stand!
If you are not yet a tweep, it's nothing to join and get started.
http://www.Twitter.com
It's free.
Nothing to download.
Easy to set up.
Easy to learn -- you'll know what's going on within minutes.
And it is a great way to get (social) traffic to your hubs.
(Social traffic does not click ads , but they will make Google start sending more searchers your way, and searchers do click ads.)
Twittering is a great way to blow up the Hub Challenge.
Now, you have to follow people in order to get followers (to read your updates) but that is easy! I follow about 890 tweeps, and I have 555 followers, and I only joined on Wednesday, May 6.
That's my piece. Everybody have fun with your Hub Challenge hubs! And don't fear Twitter. It's your friend.

2 more than I've done so far...MUST FOCUS.
I do have my new account set up, though...it's about that time.
I'm in! Posted one already today before I received your email. - Have also joined a poetry challenge so the next 30 days look to be busy.
Cheers! ...and good hubbing
Just read your email on the challenge I am new to hubpages so I am not confident that I can come up with all that new content, but I will try to do the thiry hubs in thirty days challenge if I can do more than thirty I will be surprised and pleased. I have opened a twitter account though I am not sure what I am supposed to do, do I just have to write on the twitter page each time I publish a new hub?
I actually think that I have altready done 95 Hubs in a Month, going through dated Drafts, it seems that in one month I wrote 95 (only had 5 left to go )So I am not going to do it again. A late starter I took 9 months to write my first Hub.
It Monday, i read the email about the 100 or 30 hub challenge and I think it is a fabulous idea, I am in and have already started my first Hub Challenge. I am going for 30 hubs, 100 is a little to many for me. ha ha
I did it again...only 97 more to go

Hi I am new to the hubpages family but would definitely like to take up the challenge. How do I go about getting started? Or is it too late?
P.S: Good luck I hope you win!!! That's if I don't get in first though! lol
Good luck to you, too. I don't think it's too late. Apparently there's no official signup or anything. Just put the HubChallenge tag in your hubs for the next 30 days and hope for the best. It might help to message the OP, though.
By the way, I just finished my first one:

Help ! Help !
Can someone tell me how to track the adsense income from hubpages on my adsense account.
Wow, this one took me WAY too long...but it's a great start. I def need to trim away some of the time it takes me to put these together. More coming soon!

Do all the hubs have to be totally original writing? I just did one with a short story I wrote last year, so I'm not sure if I can use that for the challenge or not.
If you wrote it and it's not already posted online anywhere, then you can definitely post it on up.
This is just an excerpt from my blog post on todays events on HubPages. I just wanted to share this with everyone.
I have noticed a couple of things with my Hubpages account today in the first day of this challenge. My hubscore is sitting at 91. Yesterday it was at 90. I have noticed a lot of hits from the hub challenge posts today too, 150 hits in all. Not of all these hits were from hubpages either. Several were from other sources, 100hubs.blogspot.com, facebook.com, iconfactory.com, mail.google.com, mail.yahoo.com and twitter.com.
The most amazing thing I noticed today is that I actually made 99 cents in google adsense, just from hubpages. This is totally amazing!!! So, I think this challenge is definitely worth it and it does look like it is working.
I'm sorry I'm starting late on this, but I'm in for 30 hubs.
I posted about it on my blog. http://embracewriting.blogspot.com/2009 … pages.html
I wish everyone the best of luck and here's hoping it does generate some revenue for all of us.
NO thanks, but I will be interested to see the total or there about, if anyone cares to share, I expect a lot of sore feelings and fingers and little profit
Ryan
I think this is just what I need to motivate me to get on and develop the hubs I've been procrastinating over count me in for 100. I know its going tro be tough but even if I hit 60 I'm sure I'll see the benefit certainly more than the couple I have already.
Paul

That's 7/100..... At this pace, I will be done in 2 weeks. ha ha ha
I've decided to take the plunge and verbally commit to writing 100 hubs!!! As I'm currently unemployed, living in a foreign country where I don't qualify for benefits of any sort (okay okay I'm also travelling - it's not so bad!) .. but that does mean every little penny I earn makes me want to dance!
I suppose this may mean it's time to join twitter as well? I've been putting that one off..

If I had the time I surely would be in. But I will be content if I manage 30 hubs in 30 days.

Looking forward to meeting new hubbers!
I haven't done anything with HubPages in a really long time. Perhaps this is the push I need! I was out of town until today, so I am a little behind, but I am still up to the challenge. Best of luck to everyone!
I'm up for the 100 in 30 days challenge...oh fool that I am.
Good luck everyone.
Count me in, if it works, I'll be a faithful hubber for life.

I haven't been actively writing on Hub Pages in a while and want to get back into this and this might get me motivated.I remember hearing about a 100 hub challenge some years ago and I know that I could not possibly write 100 hubs in a month. That is why I am attempting to do this in a...

I've scrounged HubPages for this challenge as I posted one Sunday, one yesterday, and am working on what today. With only 20 hubs in the years I have been on here, I think it would be a great challenge. Is anyone currently undertaking this? Do you have any other advice?

After the short break, I'm back here again trying a challenge planning to start from March 1st. I already have some hubs based on 'computer programming' with me as it is my forte. Rest all I plan to write during this challenge on some of my interesting topics. Is there anyone else to join me?

are we going to see any feedback? I recall something about HubPages reporting stats provided we tagged our hubs, which I duly did.And for those of us who sweated to achieve the magic 30 or even 100 in 30 days, apart from a bit of forum dialogue we've seen nothing... HubPages itself...

I understand some people are worried about the "antiHubChallenge" or whatever it's called, and I just wanted to say something on a personal level to get my own thoughts out in the open about it. And this is my PERSONAL view - yes, we do have a HubChallenge team and we...
