I am sure most of you knew Mary Hyatt. Sadly she passed on today, and I for one will really miss her. I loved her hubs, and her humor too.
She had a dog named Baby, and there were many hubs telling us about her, and her funny stories too. Her daughter Holly asked me to let you know.

So here's to a lovely lady, one I will never forget. x

Oh, that is so sad, Nell, and especially just one day after Mother's Day, here in the states.  I loved Mary so much. She was such a lovely, intelligent, funny and gifted woman. I, too, enjoyed reading her wonderful hubs and reading all about Baby. I was always amazed at the interesting topics Mary found to write about, especially new and visionary topics. I know how much she loved her beautiful flowers. I have already missed her so much. Mary was always so kind to me in her commenting. HubPages will not be the same without her presence, but we will have her writings to cherish and read when we so desire. Thank you for letting us know, dear Nell. I know I will never forget her.

Thanks for posting that, para. I just tweeted it in memory of Mary. The message is universal: Tomorrow is promised to no one. She was one of the kindest and most interactive hubbers. Her comments and forum posts were always generous and substantive. Her presence will be missed. I am sad.

I will miss her too! She had so many interesting things to talk about that she never even wrote about although I did encourage her to of how she grew up and a certain piece of bush she found for brushing her teeth as a child as they had no tooth brushes!
She was so honest and open is what I so liked about her and such a delight getting to know her having her share these things.
I am sure her family who have gone on are so glad to see her and I know she has taken with her a brighter light. May we all see her again one day where we will all be family!
      Thanks for notifying us, Nell.

This is such a sad news!
I have known her since the last 4 years through HubPages and we followed each other. I enjoyed reading her hubs and her comments were very honest and supportive. I really liked her approach towards life. "Praying for just one more tomorrow" , "How can you recycle your body after death---", are some of her  must reads contributions.
My heartfelt condolences to her family. RIP Mary Hyatt!

I will miss Mary Hyatt terrible, a poem for the gift that she was to all her Hubber friends.

      When Tomorrow Starts without me

      When tomorrow starts without me
and I am not here to see
      If the sun should rise
and find your eyes filled with tears for me
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry
      the way you did today
While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say
I know how much you love me
As much as I love you
And each time that you think of me
I know that you will miss me

But when tomorrow starts without me
      Please try to understand
an angel came and called my name
and took me by the hand
And said my place was ready
in heaven far above and that I would have to leave
Behind all those I dearly love

But as I turned to walk away a tear fell from my eye
I had so much to live for, so much yet to do
It seemed impossible that I was leaving you
I thought of all the yesterdays
the good ones and the bad
I thought of all the love we shared
and all the fun we had

      If I could re-live yesterday
      I thought for just awhile
I’d say good-bye and kiss you
      and maybe see you smile
But then I fully realized that it could never be
      For emptiness and memories
would take the place of me
So when tomorrow starts without me
      Don’t think we’re far apart
For every time you think of me
I’m right here in your heart

Mary was such a sweet woman. She has been missed for months since she had a stroke, we wished she would one day return to HubPages and Facebook...but unfortunately not. Mary did leave us with some everlasting memories and for that I am grateful. Rest in Peace, Mary.

This is really a very sad news for me. I am a follower of Mary Hyatt and she is a great woman with many interesting and intellectual hubs to her credit. She has been a lover of nature (gardening, music, arts and crafts).
After a long gap of one week, I found some time to sit on computer today, and this is one very shocking news for me. I really miss her and pray may God rest her soul in peace. My hearty condolences to her family members.

So sad to learn of Mary's passing; thanks for letting us know, Nell.  We were mutual followers and had many nice discussions in comment streams.  I mostly write about animals and Mary was a real animal lover.  Her late husband was a veterinarian and she loved doting over her miniature Schnauzer, Baby.  Her hubs generated a warmth and a familiarity that made readers feel that they've known her for years.  I have nice memories of my cyber friend, Mary615, and wish to add my condolences to her family.  Rest in peace, Mary.

I lament Mary's death but have faith that she is in a much better place now, although we here are sad to miss her. I liked everything about her.

As we age, so many fall around us, that it is a little like the life of the last lone bowling pin at the end of the alley. We must treasure our living friends even more now.
