    The Bay City, Michigan Riverwalk is a boardwalk quite a length in distance that takes you beside the Saginaw River in the Downtown Area. It features rest stops with benches and supports walkers and cyclists alike. The landscaping is phenomenal, with one section completely planted in flowers and trees. Wildlife, birds, fish, and native plants thrive and several tall trees host perching herons - It is disconcerting to see such tall birds sitting in a flock in a tree!
