Saving Christmas ornaments from year to year is nothing new to this holiday season and a lot of the times all the great collections of decorations can be found in an old shoe or gift box from past years gone by.

These traditional ways of storage used to be the best way to protect and stack all of those figure and figurines, but there were always some disadvantages when not using more heavy duty plastic stackable containers. read more

One of my favorite color schemes is the Red & Kiwi Christmas Ornaments. The red and kiwi green really blend together. I think your Tree looks best when you use a variety of shapes and sizes of your Red and Kiwi Christmas ornaments. I think using a silver artificial tree really makes the colors of the ornaments pop. And something else that you can do to bring your Red & Kiwi Christmas Tree together is ... read more

I remember Christmas time at my family's house was amazing! My mom always went way out for this Holiday. Lights inside and out. She never used real trees because she feared them catching on fire. Because a lady she knew lost her house by using a real tree so it put a phobia in her mind about them.

I also love decorating our tree very year...and as my Mother, I would rather use artificial.

I prefer the atificial tree as well because it can be used year after year. No mess to clean up with pine needles after the new year when the tree comes down. Ha ha!!!

Christmas is my favorite time of year because I love the thrill of decorating my Christmas tree then peacefully feeling mesmerized by it's colorful flickering lights with Christ memorabilia.
The variety of available Christmas trees from real Canadian pine to colorful realistic white, blue, red and gold trees are awesome to decorate. I look forward to going all out this year with color coordinated gift wrapping paper and tree ornaments.

    Christmas Home Decorations

There are many ways of decorating your house for Christmas; you must select something, which you help you spread the festive cheer. It will be impossible to incorporate every style and idea, in the decorations. One way of doing it is to make patterns out of cardboards, papers, clothes etc. For this one can use the cookie cutter and other cutters as well, to come up with attractive shapes, which can be put all over the house. Besides this, there are several other ways by which you can decorate your home.

When you are decorating your homes, you must pay attention to the outdoor decorations as well. Life size figure of Santa, a Christmas tree and Christmas lights, are some of the things which can be used to decorate the exteriors.

As I am separating from my wife of 20 years, this year I finally get to have my personality represented on the tree, a privilege I was denied all those years.

My family every year has always given me Star Wars and Star Trek ornaments, which were always refused a place on our family tree.

Guess what my tree will be done up in this year?
