Having a child is the most selfish act in the world. When you have a child, it's always about you. You're bringing an innocent soul into a cruel world because you're lonely. You do it because it gives you a sense of purpose. That thing growing inside of you didn't exist until you decided to make it. And when things don't turn out how youy wanted, you're filled with dissapiontment. And adoption isn't any better. people pick out kids like they would a radio. This one's not cute enough, this one's too stupid. No one wants to adopt a sick baby, and nobody wants to deal with an already demented teenager. They always try to find the best child they can get so that when it turns out well they can take credit for it.
