I went to a nutritionist for health issues, but the eating plan had the bonus of weight loss. Simply eat a healthy breakfast (like fruit and some raw nuts, or a hot cereal.)  Eat a healthy lunch, no fries or pizza, and a healthy dinner, no fired foods. Skip the refined carbs.  Choose lots of fresh vegetables. No sugar and no snacking at all between meals or after dinner.  Drink 8 glasses of water a day. You'll see the pounds drop and feel better too.
